Lite seems to be a smart way to go for the espionage genre when it ties to cinematic Bond-like style....something the last really big spy game (Spycraft) could not handle well due to some of the worst D20 era over-design bloat imaginable.Doctor Futurityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02586371999646337047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4566357373248344031.post-83615359438483595452014-09-12T15:01:44.960-06:002014-09-12T15:01:44.960-06:00You dust it off and I'll be happy to help play...You dust it off and I'll be happy to help playtest!Doctor Futurityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02586371999646337047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4566357373248344031.post-67801880249508386662014-09-12T14:16:34.676-06:002014-09-12T14:16:34.676-06:00I'm with you completely on Top Secret, especia...I'm with you completely on Top Secret, especially S/I. I never played it in the 80's, we had a homebrew we played.

I just ran a game for the first time this year and it was a hit. The system is fast and elegant and will be returning to my table.

There is a rules light spy game called Covert Ops that was released recently by DwD Studios. I don't know if it's a retro-clone of Top Secret or its own beast, but I've heard good buzz about it.

There's also a retro-clone of the old James Bond RPG called Classified. I've never read either game. Maybe Steve Jackson could run a kickstarter to gauge interest. sevenbastardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11961009160456478009noreply@blogger.com
