I hope the Troll Lords let you do some subgenre support books for it! Doing a space opera or planetary romance is very do-able, so long as you know the setting you're running very well. If sales grow strong enough to warrant print supplements they'll let me explore it, and posts like this will be a HUGE help in that area, so thanks! The Grey Elfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14696474020129732936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4566357373248344031.post-2890693052207354242013-02-04T20:58:43.773-07:002013-02-04T20:58:43.773-07:00I'll discuss pulp genre hacking and how it can...I'll discuss pulp genre hacking and how it can work with the next blog I post on AA, but the short answer is "Yes, with a little bit of work on the GM's side," but I think that Jason should talk the Trolls into doing an entire source book on the subject of pulp space opera. He would, knowing that Prestidigitation can move up to 1 pound of matter, announce, "Thankfully I brought my Magnet-o-Tron Matter Mover!" and spend the points to move the key to him. Or, if he's really clever, "Thankfully I brought my all-purpose ranged multi-tool and matter manipulation device!" thus leaving him room to use the other mechanical functions of the spell later that adventure. I was brainstorming so gadget ideas as well and may list some in a future blog.

My book has mostly held up except for a few pages which I am going to "fix" with a bit of binding glue, so that's good. I seem to recall that TLG owns their own in-house printer, so if I've only had one book failure in all this time that's not too shabby,

Doctor Futurityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02586371999646337047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4566357373248344031.post-79488775516695741582013-02-04T11:33:17.346-07:002013-02-04T11:33:17.346-07:00You are right! So far it only seems to be the case with one of the six, so hopefully there were just a few bad books in the batch...

Thanks for the review! Yes, this system does assume a great deal of cooperation between player and GM (and states so in the rules), but in my forthcoming companion / expansion articles for the classes I intend to create a number of sample gadgets for the Gadgeteer to help address the "how would this work?" question.
